Statistics of visitors of job portal cvmarket.lv indicates the job market situation in Europe. Data presented that the number of job seekers from other countries looking for job in Latvia has increase by 76% in 2014 compared to 2013. Need to mention, that during the crisis which started on 2008 many people left the country and was looking for opportunities abroad.
However, at the moment the interest to return back is increasing. There can be many and different reasons for this increased interest-
First of all, economic situation considerably increased after the great GDP fall and 19% unemployment rate in Latvia in 2009 (in 2015 it is 9.5%).
Next, life condition abroad has become more difficult, considering the social benefits has decreased, knowing that many developed countries in Europe struggle to meet their social insurance system needs.
Last, but not least economic situation is in bad shape and unemployment remain high in countries such as Spain, Italy , Greece and is increasing in other countries.
